I received a package today from my Stitcher's Angel......

Cleaning Up........

OK, I have really neglected my house lately.......the first part of the week was busy so it took me until Wednesday night to decide I better get moving..... I jumped in and started digging out..... first cleaning carpets and moving furniture..... then I saw how bad the windows looked... I hate to wash windows.... have you ever noticed that one thing leads to another.....blinds, closets, drawers.....oh well, onward......have a great weekend, maybe I will be done before next week....

When the kids were here my two grandsons were watching cartoons one afternoon.....I went to check on them and this is what I found....

They had climbed into the fold up hampers I left when doing their laundry...as you can see they are very intent on the TV...... we got a good laugh and they watched the rest of the show like this.....kids, don't you just love them....always something to put a smile on my face.....

Finally...

Well.....finally, Mr. and Mrs....your beautiful wedding day came .....perfect weather with lots of family and friends... and the cake was great....we love you lots....now on with your wonderful life.....Hugs.........

Better Late Then Never.......

I meant to post some pictures from the Bridal Luncheon days ago........ we had a very nice lunch with family and friends.... we ate, laughed and was pooped by the end of the day...

And the happy bride.....only 11 days til the wedding....we are all so happy and can hardly wait......til later....

Summer Slipping Away..........

Fall is definitely in the air.....the temperatures during the day range from 60 degrees to 90.....at night it has dipped into the 40's .....there is still hay to be cut and the potatoes are almost ready for harvest.... school started this week .....what little summer we had is quickly slipping away.....

The last two weeks have been busy... not much sewing.....did finish quilting this one....now for the binding .... not sure when ....

I did the back with two different blue fabrics......for a scrappy quilt it turned out pretty well.....now I am down to two quilts and one wall hanging to finish before 2009 is gone.....in between I will be working on the Stitcher's Angel Swap.... I have been in contact with my swap partner..... sorry.....I can not say who or where she is.... OK, just one hint.....she is from a country very close to Russia.... did that help at all?... I have been to her blog and she is a very talented lady.....so far I have not heard from my Angel....hint, hint....

Lots to do... Both daughter's and grand babes will be here tomorrow...Angels kept flying and creating....

Angel's Everywhere...

Tomorrow is the beginning of Stitcher's Angel 2009......this is my first swap and I am very excited to be a part of it.....I have received the information on my swap partner .... this must stay a secret for awhile, but I can tell you she is very talented.....I have enjoyed visiting her blog and admiring all her beautiful creations..... so far I have not heard from my own angel, but I have been waiting patiently ....in the weeks to come, Stitching Angels all over the world will be creating beautiful handmade treasures and making new friendships that will last forever.... hugs and happy stitching to all the angels....

Hug A Quilter

Been working all week......some quilting, hope to get quilt done in the next few days.....I have a couple of birthday projects to show ....after the birthday girl see's them....

My Grandma made 12 of these blocks some years ago..... I just need to get them set together in a top and quilted.... hoping to get it done soon...another busy week ahead.... more work ....both daughters and grand babies coming next Friday....Bridal Shower for Brandy on Saturday... maybe some quilting....hope everyone has a great weekend...
